TNA Fantasy Impact: Week One
Welcome to a new era in TNA Wrestling as it’s brought to you out in Orlando, Florida. Mike Teney and Taz are the announcers and Dixie Carter is standing outside where the fans are waiting to enter the Impact Zone. This is a first because normally the show starts once the fans are inside, but Dixie wanted to do something different for she is address to the fans that she has a surprise for everyone once they enter the Impact Zone. So as she cut the red ribbon, everyone slowly enters the Impact Zone to notice that the 6-sided ring in back. Everyone gets excited to see it’s return as they head onto their seats.
Moments later, Dixie then addresses to the fans that this is a new era and that means everything will be revamped. So with that said, she’s announcing that all the titles are to be forfeited for there will be a tournament as of tonight. So she calls out each ‘former’ champion to the ring to give up their titles. Gunner comes out first and hands over the television title and walks away. Beer Money and Kazarian of Fortune then comes out and hands the titles to her. As they left, Ric Flair then comes out witb Immortal and then gets in Dixie’s face about what she was doing. After the back and forth talk, Abyss then gets into her face until Fortune came to make the save as they go into commercial.
Back at the show, Teney and Taz gives a rundown on the first round of each of the tournaments (15 minute time limit) that are about to happen, with the finals taking place at Sacrifice in May. They also announce that Sting will be here later tonight to forfeit his title and to make an announcement of his own. With that said, let’s get on with the tournament.
Round One of the X-Division Title: Shannon Moore vs. Brian Kendrick
Winner: Brian Kendrick in 11:12
Backstage, Immortal is looking at all the tournament brackets and Abyss noticed that he’s not in the Heavyweight picture, so he storms off towards Dixie’s room.
Round One of the T.V. Title: Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Terry
Winner: Rob Terry in 7:00
Abyss is in the back as he kicks Dixie’s door down as Matt Hardy holds him back. Dixie says that she’s not taking any crap from anyone and that she’s calling the shots here now. For putting his hands on her, that just cost him a tournament shot for the Heavyweight Championship.
Round One of the Woman’s Title: Angelina Love vs. Mickie James
Winner: Angelina Love in 9:35 with an interference of Tara
Back in Dixie’s room as she’s still putting names down for the rest of the tournament, Madison Rayne comes in an complains about giving up her title with Rosita and Sarita getting into Dixie’s face making threats. Giving her new ‘No Tolerance’ attitude, Dixie announces that Madison Rayne is going up against Tara next week in Round One and that not only is she completely phasing out the Woman’s Tag Team Titles, but the next Round One match will be Rosita against Sarita. As upset as they were, Hernandez comes in and pulls both Sarita and Rosita out of the office with Rayne staring up and down at Dixie.
Round One of the Woman’s Title: Rosita vs. Sarita
Winner: Rosita in 8:16
Sarita was upset, but Hernandez had convinced her to go and shake hands with her and they did just that.
Teney and Taz now show footage of various wrestlers and their feelings towards the new era and the return of the 6-sided ring.
Round One of the Tag Team Titles: Beer Money vs. Generation Me
Winner : Beer Money in 12:00
Hogan and Bishoff comes in and finds out what just happened from Flair and runs into Dixie’s office. As the tension grew high, Dixie goes off and just told Hogan and Bishoff that they were suspended indefinitely and ordered security to escort them out of the room, leaving Flair to run the group Immortal.
Round One of the X-Division Title: Robbie E. vs. Chris Sabin
Winner: Robbie E. in 9:25
Another segment in Dixie’s room sees Bully Ray storming in and confronting her, cursing her out. She then tells Bully Ray that she has a surprise for him and that not only is that she involved him in the Tag Title tournament, but she’s got a surprise partner just for him and told him to leave her office as security escorts him out.
Round One of the Heavyweight Title: Rob Van Dam vs. D’Angelo Dinero
Winner: Rob Van Dam in 13:00
Outside, we see Sting coming out of his car with the Heavyweight Title as he makes his way into the ring. He goes off about his entire career and then announces to the fans that he’s going make his final run as a wrestler and a TNA performer as of now with his final match at Bound for Glory. A bunch of wrestlers come out to show love and support for his decision such as Fortune, Dreamer, RVD, Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels and even Samoa Joe.
Back from commercial break, we see Morgan about to enter his match for the T.V. Title when Hernandez comes from behind with a steel pipe, knocking him down with a few more shots. Officials and doctors come and tell them that he can’t do the match tonight.
Round One of the T.V. Title: Matt Morgan vs. Gunner
Winner by forfeit: Gunner
Dixie then comes out and says that there is going to be a match no matter what so she brings out Gunner’s new opponent……Murphy!
Winner: Murphy in 3:00
As they load Morgan into the ambulance, the next match is about to start.
Round One of the Tag Team Titles: Bully Ray & ??? vs. Eric Young & Orlando Jordan
As people were waiting to see who his partner was, to his surprise it’s……..Brother Devon! Bully Ray was pissed as they both got in each others faces. Dixie comes out again and told Bully Ray that she did not forget what he had done to AJ Styles and that he better get along with Devon or else he’ll be fired from TNA. So Bully Ray has no choice but to get along with him as the match begins.
Winner: The reuniting Team 3D in 7:45
As Sting was leaving the arena, Flair stops him by his car and asked him why did he choose to want to leave the sport of wrestling. Sting says that it was his time and that too bad that Flair doesn’t know when to give it up. Then her jumps in his car and drives off, leaving Flair thinking to himself.
The Main Event and Round One of the Heavyweight Title: Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe
Winner: Samoa Joe in 14:25
During the match without the ref looking, a hooded guy came and knocked Jarrett in the head with his guitar. After the match as Joe left the ring, the hooded guy stood over an unconscious Jarrett and revealed himself to be…..Kurt Angle. Telling him that TNA may have restarted, but their feud is far from over. Celebrating with the fans as the show ended.

The Introduction to TNA Fantasy Impact
Thanks everyone for joining in for my new wrestling blog called ‘TNA Fantasy Impact!’ Let’s say that you didn’t like the product that TNA is putting out these day and you want to start it off with something fresh. Well, here it is. I’m putting together a brand new fantasy-themed show where it answers that question of ‘If I were to take control of TNA today, what would I do different?’ So sit back and enjoy my weekly blog and feel free to sign up and be a member. Some may enjoy and may not, but it’s all in good and clean fun. So let’s get the revamping started.
